I'd like to get down to 150 and then see where to go from there. I've read the community info but I still have a lot of questions ( Read more... )

Uhhh, assuming you're not trolling us, read the community info and visit the links therein. It was written for a good reason. It should answer your first 4 questions.

Eating clean means not eating crap (cookies, chips, anything fried, white grains, processed starches). If it comes straight from the ground or the animal, it's generally not too bad. Beware of things in packages. Use FitDay or another tracking tool to help you determine how many calories are in common foods and track your intake. Good luck! Also, read the community info.

Nice sockpuppet. Your journal has one entry, no friends, and this comm is one of two you are in.

Lame. Get a life.

I used my sock journal because I'm embarrassed about my weight. Thanks for making me feel bad.

Dude. It's *not* your weight that is the problem. That's what you don't get. I come in at 170# myself. But have you read the comm at all? You come here asking whether you should lift more than three pounds and you expect to be taken seriously?

I have nothing against you personally. But know your audience. And own your questions, post under your real LJ and with common sense and it will go much better.

I weigh in the "heavyweight" category for powerlifters, and I'm 4'11" (over 198 for those folks that don't want to do google-fu). This place isn't fatphobic, it's just rules-centric and snarktastic :-)

For me the tipoff was trying too hard to push all the gymrats buttons at once.

If you liked the original, you'll love legacy. The plot's a bit thin, but it's fun.

A thin plot in a movie pushed for its 3-d effects? A first!
