So I was supposed to go to Mobile this weekend to visit with harkalark, who had to travel through that way for work. New Orleans. You drive down the interstated toward New Orleans and it's like this progression of destruction. Am here. Have laughed and talked and hugged and car-boogied and eaten great food and listened to awesome new music. And all in only a few hours. The next four days are going to be heaven. I've missed this so much.

harkalark got to see both Mirrormask and the Tannahill Weavers this weekend. I am insane with jealosy. The closest place Mirrormask is coming to Baton Rouge is Houston -- over 5 hours away. And there are no decent Celtic bands coming to this area any time soon either.

Grrr.
