Slight change in plans...
In the last week we where talking with a friend about a musical event he was planning on attending in NC. The plan is forming
I spent monday night till wednesday afternoon with my friend planning our adventure. His name is Doug and he is really more of a boyfriend but I also consider him a friend. Stress
Things have been getting more stressful at work. I am finding it difficult to refrain from saying what I really mean to customers. Why would you bring back hamburger meat you left on the counter by accident and say it was this color when I opened to fridge? Why complain to me about a computer error, or that we don't sell booze till after 10 on ( Read more... ) -
Change
I need a change, a different place to live and or a new job. The store has gone downhill, it used to be where only a few people had any complaints, now new hires tend to quit in a week or two. They pretty much did away with cashier training, plus over the holiday season they are cutting hours. I hate looking at people waiting in long lines and ( Read more... ) -
Dreaming about my Dreams
The last dream I remember before waking up I was in a room with a lot of couches, and I can not remember why but someone asked me something and i said ok while silmultaniously signing ok as i often do. My path in life...
So I have been thinking of going back to school for a while now but I did not know what to finish my associates in. I wanted it to be a profession I could sink my teeth into right out of school and make a decent wage while still having flexibility later on to work with kids and or adults. Time management
I asked Meijer to cut back on my hours but the response I got was "slowly", meaning they do not have enough people to run the service desk if I am not scheduled. So i need to work on my time management skills and hope the money makes up for all the stress. It is nice to know I can give my landloard the last half of the rent this week rather than ( Read more... ) -
Sick day
I like how when I call in sick 1-2 times a year that co workers have to be upset about it when it affects them. Everyone else I work with has called in at least once in the last two months, and who knows if all of those are legit, whatever, I just deal with it. Burning the candle at both ends
The week before memorial day I was looking on craigslist and found an ad for a warehouse job that paid 9 dollars an hour. I saw you had to just call the number and the next day I called and found out it was an employment agency that placed people with a lot of different jobs.
