Lovecraft and dreams
I don't know if it's a side effect of going to sleep by Lovecraft audio-books, but I woke up to another nightmare. I often go to sleep to Shadow over Innsmouth, The Dunwich Horror, or The Call of Cthulhu, and it doesn't usually seem to affect my dreaming, but this one was rather Lovecraftian, I think.

Or not really. Just in my own mind. Recently, an acquaintance -- one I rather liked -- and choirbuddy expressed an opinion I considered understandable from a young teen, but far too naive for an adult. As twenty plus comments built up to call him out, he stood by his opinion, which is actually pretty damn sexist. ( Read more... ) -
Meme?
So I saw an old music meme where you're supposed to put your music program/player on shuffle, write down the first line of every song, and see what kind of poem it makes. I got bored of that, so I started writing down titles instead and editing them into pseudo-poems. Did I mention I was bored? I'm going to run with that as my excuse.
