So I saw an old music meme where you're supposed to put your music program/player on shuffle, write down the first line of every song, and see what kind of poem it makes. I got bored of that, so I started writing down titles instead and editing them into pseudo-poems.  Did I mention I was bored?  I'm going to run with that as my excuse.

So lap up my blood, you dogs
But remember
While I was cast down from on high
You are
And will remain
Only dogs

I dreamt of Death in shapeless cowl
                            come before my time
She did not heed my cry, "Too soon!"
                      but smiled a rictus smile
And then I saw the face she wore--
                the face she wore was mine.
