So, it's going to be 25Years! that I've been on LJ.
During that time I've known many people, to varying degrees.
Most of them have not communicated here for years.
Was it something I said?

Sarcasm has been described as hostility disguised as humor.
I sometimes forget a lesson I've re-learned over and over:
in writing, unless it's very obvious, sarcasm is often misunderstood .

So, where are all the drones that were threatening our very existence a few weeks ago?
Did the extra-terrestrial ones just pack it up and go back to their home planet?
Has an enemy country stopped its surveilance of our everyday lives?
Did The Drone Story fulfill its purpose as a news-cycle distraction until something else came up ( Read more... )

but I've only seen one here on LJ so far.
It seems there were lots more in the past, but so far only one.
I can do the cut-and-paste thing well enough
but I don't know if I can be arsed to do it at all...
