So, it's going to be 25Years! that I've been on LJ. During that time I've known many people, to varying degrees. Most of them have not communicated here for years. Was it something I said?
I have been in LJ 24 years and people come and go. I think people are writing in other places these days. LJ is not popular place for folks to write it seems. I keep waiting for LJ to disappear. I write all the time so it is no big deal for me to write here. I do miss some folks who use to write in LJ. But I suppose people have other things to do then sit and write down words.
LJ still exists as an anachronism from the early 90's when I got my first PC. Back then, communicating with others from around the world was new and exciting. I found LJ after the demise of Prodigy and AOL, and even though the site navigation was (still is) somewhat wonky, LJ was a good alternative. Although I write here much less than I used to, I usually visit every day.
I first started writing in Journalspace till it was wiped out-then I started writing in Diaryland which I still do even though it is broken-does not function like it use to-I have been writing in Diaryland since 2001-I also write in Wordpress and Penzu-I paste in these sites what I write in LJ crookedfingers.
