So what does it mean that the rose plant Joe got me for our anniversary this year is already wilting? I haven't been able to keep a single one alive. If you got it from the grocery store, well, don't feel bad if it doesn't survive, because my thumb is not black by any means but I just can't get those bushes to thrive. ;P

I'll have to make sure to never get near it. I have a black thumb, I can kill plants just with proximity.

My excuse for buying roses is a rather cliche one - "Yes, they'll fade away & eventually be gone. But that's only so I can buy you more and more."
