Inch By Inch....

....it's a cinch. Yard by yard, it's very hard. As my dear Aunt Irmchen is known to remind me frequently, when I'm faced with what seems like a daunting task. So, in view of this, I just finished making slipcovers for the two big cushions which reside on my porch glider/loveseat. Voila! Success! Lookin' good. You betcha', honey! Since I wrote this, I finished the seat back. Just the seat cushions themselves now, baby!

P.S. After I finished the seat back cushion, I was so pooped and achey that I lay down and passed out for two hours! It's midnight now, and I'm debating tackling the seat cushion or returning to bed.

Aww, don't work too hard for us ;) I can't wait! Can you believe it's been about a year since we've been in New York? Unbelievable! I'm so excited to see your house and your cats and Poco ... yay!

I've been wanting to work on this stuff since I moved in. For some reason it got put on the back burner. Your visit is just the impetous I needed to push the envelope and get 'er done. I might not have EVERRYTHING done by the time you guys get here, but it's 100% better than the cabin. And, Joce, no spiders!

Yeah. I can't wait to see you too! I'm just so thrilled you'll be at S.U. next year!
