You were seriously right about the H 50 genfic. Catherine is seriously kick-ass in that. Loved it as a backstory to their relationship.

I thought you'd love that one, yes! Blu Flamingo's good, and I thought, "Girl Saves Boy in H50? I have got to see this." ::cheerful:: Then I started thinking of other people who should see that!

Have you read Tiger Soup that I rec'd a few times back?

I've not seen Thor, but thanks for letting me know about mangled mythology. I doubt it would bother me, seeing as how I used to watch Stargate. I think mythology was mangled on that series just to give Jack O'Neill some cool snappy lines.

Eh, it wasn't until the end when I really gnashed teeth. (The movie, now, hoo boy.) But yeah, Stargate played around, too, but I was never sure if that was supposed to be accounted for by word of mouth stories from the Jaffa to the Tau'ri about Goa'uld who hadn't been to earth. Although I never did understand how a Tok'ra was named Freya.
