Well, yes, that's what I would like, too, ideally. :D But Joss and his cronies seem intent on keeping it a triangle. Oh, LOL, you didn't even vote with Angel as a choice. :)

You can bash Holder if you want. :) The book itself is certainly bash-able.

I also wanted to vote both Spike's eyes and smile, alas. I went for Spike's eyes and Angel's smile because, and this might sound mean, but I always thought Angel's eyes were too close together...[/shallow]

IT'S VERY BIZARRE. But not actually horrifically terrible. Or maybe I just blocked stuff out. Mostly it's bizarre. :D

Given my druthers, I'druther have Spike's eyes and smile. I can't really recall Angel's smile, to tell you the truth, but my sense is that it doesn't do much for me. On the other hand, I love some of the smiles Spike has given Buffy, and love the idea that she's noticed and liked them - especially when they're only for her.

*g* That seems to be the general consensus. The idea of Buffy especially liking Spike's smiles is so romantic and heart-warming; I think she would take note when he smiled instead of smirked.
