As I sit on my couch, avoiding a stack of poorly-written high school student essays, I browse the Not a Blog and find...well, nothing of import. HBO book signings, clips from upcoming GOT episodes, and a mention of working on proofing ADWD for the July 12th release. I'll be doing a chapter-by-chapter on the fly reading blog project over at slynt.blogspot.com the moment I flip open the damn thing, FYI. Don't ask me why. Just call it catharsis.

Vinny Jones as a better hound, I can see that. This Rory McCann guy looks more a retard/simpleton than he does some vicious, burned, blood thirsty and fatalistic Sandor I imagined. He also looks pudgy, he's got a little gut. The books mention numerous times how heavily muscled the Hound is. And his face is supposed to be BURNED off, what's with this droopy-to-the-side shit? Ned too looks to healthy by half. They should of told Sean Bean to loose some weight, I always saw him being more gaunt. Anyway back to Bronn, James Purefoy would have been perfect, ya know, the guy who played Antony in Rome. Na Mean???? What do you guys think?

I could see Purefoy as Bronn...he's got that capable, street-smart, slightly weasel-like quality I look for in that character.

Good ole Georgie says that Selmy will be a POV in Dance. For once some good news (IMO) in the ASOIAF universe. I can't think of anyone else, with a few exceptions, that I would rather see get a POV in Dance. Those exceptions being Varys, The Hound or Hot Pie(kidding). Selmy knows so much shit and remembers so much history. While I'm sharing all of my wishful thinking, I wanna get a inside look at Greywater Watch. Howland Reed might,could be a cool POV, ya dig?

GRRM just posted that he expects edits and completion of the ADWD to take another 6 years! Okay that was a late April fool, thought I would drop over and say hi, as a new member of this benighted fandom. Unlike all of you, I have NOT been waiting at all, and have a reasonable glow of expectation about the next book! Nice to meet you Ray and Joe!
