as to how many times over how many viewings GRRM has jerked-off to this HBO series. To your comment below after the premier... there seems to be a bit of gratuitous boobs, butts and cocks in this one.

Nonetheless, I'd say this show is coming off better than I thought it would.

As far as your reading of ADWD goes? By god man, don't wait until the end of the book to review it!!! Give us your thoughts as they come man!!! IF the damn thing comes out in July.

I've said it before, I'm off the GRRM bus and stay with this community because it's funny. I'm refusing to watch the show, even. Well, I have a buddy, N, visiting us, and he's a big GOT fan, as is another friend, R, who lives here. I said I'd be willing to go watch GOT at R's house because he has cable and we don't.

They wanted to rewatch the first three episodes. I said I didn't want to, but okay. I wrote while they watched the first two episodes. My husband said, "I downloaded all of them for you, kishiriadgr. I told him, "But I don't want to watch the series."

I don't know why no one believes me when I tell them this. I don't even plan to read DoD, to the point where I'm telling people that if they even give me a copy of the book, I'll set it on fire. I expect to be given copies nonetheless. I'll set them on fire and the givers will be offended because I did what I said I would do.

The next largest chunk o' chapters belongs to an old POV character who has been missing for a couple of books, but now returns to us... rather the worse for wear.

Crap, that's Theon, isn't it? Granted, some good torturing would only improve his character, but still, if you're from the Iron Islands and not involved with Daenerys's plotline, get the hell out of my ASoIaF.

I am/was a big fan of the Mark Reads Twilight/Harry Potter/The Hunger Games blog where Mark Oshiro would read aforementioned books one chapter at a time, providing his personal commentary. I would totally love to read your comments/notes/thoughts one chapter at a time. If I recall correctly, Mark would just take notes as he read then type them up as he got around to it, posting every day or every couple of days, so you wouldn't have to stop at each chapter, just take notes while you read.
