Home again. "Home" again. I'm starting to think the sun has abandoned Providence for good this time. Currently, it's overcast and 42˚F, with the windchill at 33˚F. Utter misery. And we're expecting snow tonight and Monday morning and also Wednesday and Thursday

i agree completely about social media. the good usually gets buried under the muck & mire of idiocy.

i avoid fb like the plague. twitter i skim, but it makes me twitchy. i do enjoy tumblr though, ignoring the ridiculous ads & occasional nsfw post that sneaks by. quite a bit of good poetry/writing/artstuff.

regardless, may the gods & goddesses of writing be good to you as always.

I just have to say what a pleasure it was to hear you speak this weekend and talk to you at StokerCon. This is Jaime - I have shortish black hair and waited to talk to you after the “State of the Genre” panel on Friday. I was wearing a black dress and was probably kind of overly excited just to talk to you

I deleted my Twitter app and cut my Facebook friends down to 50 or so that I communicate with on a semi-regular basis. It was helpful as grief reliever this weekend, so I'll grant it that at least. I hope Alabama is everything you want it to be.
