This spate of insomnia appears to have no intention of ever letting go of me. Last night was especially difficult. I lay awake. I'm not sure if those are shells or bracket fungi, but they're gorgeous.

I'm damned surprised that you took Dark Horse back after what you mentioned earlier in the year. Well, I won't argue with more Dancy stories.

I used to have a pair of oxblood Doc's as well, but they were an early casualty of one of the dogs years and years back. They were all beat to hell anyway, but still. I loved that color.

Quite a few docs are still made in the UK. They cost more, but they're worth it if you're tough on shoes; mfg labels are accurate.

Pictures of fall from the east coast feel so lifeless to me now... not ugly, but barren. I don't remember feeling that when I lived there.

Seriously gorgeous photos. I'm really digging the last two issues of Sirenia. I am buried under deadlines right now, but have you given any more thought to doing an interview with Disinfo in December/January maybe?
