I honestly don't get it. Why are there so many people surprised at Rumsfeld's resignation? It all makes sence to me. The timing is right for this to happen. Rumsfeld is the sacrifice folks and the timing is perfect for it. A last ditch effort to save face, fake interest in bipartisanship, and punishment for failure within the Administration.
