Age group finish: 4th of 16 (holy shyte! one spot away from an award! \o/)
Overall finish: 43rd of 61
That's 5:29 slower than my first tri. I was 6 minutes slower in the swim (explained in the blathering) and much faster in the transitions, accounting for the time difference.

Triathlon eve
It's the day before my second triathlon and I feel the nerves amping up. Just when I think I'm over all the Swim Issues, two people die in major national Iron Man triathlons and one person dies in a local triathlon, all athletes who were very strong in the swim event, all within three weeks of this last tri, and my buttons seem to have been pushed ( Read more... ) -
