I say write em up. There are some decidedly cloudy moments in the books too - I was saying to someone else that I keep paging back and forth at points because there are lots of assertions made from other characters' point of view that may or may not be the truth, and you kind of have to sort it out on your own sometimes. I'd be interested in hearing what you have to say.

And let's see.... 6, 9, 12, and 26.

The idea of that type of writing is both appealing and frustrating.

I wrote quite a lot this morning, actually. I'll tidy it up and post later.

6 - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?

There are two ways I can look at it: consecutive years or cumulative years. Consecutively it's Man from UNCLE. I was very active in the fandom for around seven years and really only stopped when I went through some major RL drama that removed me from fandom entirely for around three years. Cumulatively it's definitely Star Wars. I was as active as any kid could be in the mid-70's through the early 80's collecting cards and toys and creating a lot of fan art. I was the 7-year-old girl who was obsessed with all things Darth Vader (Barbie was Lame in my book). I found myself in Star Wars again in the early 90's when I connected with other adult female Darth Vader fans at ( ... )

7 - Do you remember your first OTP? If so who was in it?

Starsky & Hutch in the mid-late 70's. There has never been a better show or movie for h/c ever than S&H, and the genre appealed to me even as a kid. Hutch forced into drug addiction? Starsky shot? At 7 years old I was so there. I remember lying in bed, replaying the h/c scenarios from the show and making up my own as I fell asleep.

15 - Choose a song at random. Which OTP does it remind you of?

I set iTunes to random and the first song that came up was from an old workout mix: Till the World Ends by Britney Spears.

The song brings Doctor Who to mind but not a particular pairing.

The next random song was PPA by Rodrigo y Gabriela, which brings to mind Napoleon/Illya investigating an affair in Spain before returning to a dingy, overheated motel room with a broken ceiling fan for some hot, sweaty sexy times.

Ooh, I LOVE that! What a great answer. :)

Abby from NCIS gives Molly from Sherlock an epic punk makeover. They hook up and start their own kickass underground crime solving forensics team.

Cool idea! And a crossover, too :)

Blanche Deveraux, Mrs Hudson's second cousin from America, comes to visit. Blanche brings her housemates, Rose, Dorothy, and Sophia. Endless days of men in and out of the flat at all hours (John could swear he saw the little Sicilian lady with Angelo), and so much drunken rowdiness that even Sherlock's screeching violin at 3AM can't drown it out.

This is why I'm only allowed to write feedback.

14 - Your favorite fan fiction or fan author.

I can't imagine being in fandom for more than 20 years and not having a multitude of favorites, as I do. By no means a completely list but off the top of my head and limiting myself to just a few (or I'd be here all night):

keelywolfe has a magical touch with stories. She never forgets there is humor in the world and most situations in life, and there's a bit of tongue-in-cheek in her stories that really appeals to me. And her way with the hot hot sex. Her Sherlock, Star Trek, Sirius/Remus, and MFU stories are some of my all-time favorites.

I have exactly one will-read-in-any-fandom-they-write-in author and it's splix. Every. Fandom. I did missed her Sean Bean years as they fell when I was on fannish hiatus, but I've read everything else.

wordstrings's Sherlock stories are brilliant and push the boundaries of canon -and my mental image of John and Sherlock- in great ways.
