A Little Bit of Torture Goes a Long Way
The sound was so different from her usual “hem-hem” that Hermione didn’t know quite what to make of it.
Severus, of course, was smirking.
Hermione twisted her wand idly between her fingers. Dolores Umbridge’s eyes followed the motion.
“Bored, dear?” Severus asked.
Hermione nodded a little sadly.
“Don’t pout. Transfiguring her into a half-frog was a stroke of brilliance.”
“I could Summon some centaurs…”
A movement caught Hermione’s eye. Umbridge was trying desperately to escape. Her mouth was moving but no sound was coming out. Hermione raised an eyebrow at Severus.
“Honestly, did you want to hear that scream again?”
