Moving up rapidly on the list of things I hate:

Any production of the Nutcracker (or derivative thereof) that moves Sugar-Plum Fairy out of the pas de deux.

Just because the DVD is kind of rare, I can only give someone else’s excerpt.

Mid-way through my junior year in college, I changed majors from B.M. Music Performance to B.M. Music Composition.  Early on in my new major, my work was strongly affected by John Cage’s aleatory approach to music, though I was probably more structured in building large constructions to control a fair amount of the random nature of things.

Okay, I’m really old.  Somehow I managed to get all the way from November of last year to this week without seeing even part of the actual video for Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” (parodies thereof notwithstanding).
