So I almost got nailed today while driving, from both sides. My adrenaline is still going. So I just pass the stop light at the Newmark/Broadway intersection, with Sizzler on my right and Albertsons to my left. Things are going well... we got the house we wanted, it's really nice, 2bdrm, 1 ba and has a spectacular backyard, all for $700/month. That's CHEAP for what we are getting so we're both thrilled. We sign the lease agreement on the 30th, get the keys on the 1st and then can begin moving in on Saturday the 3rd. I can't wait... it'll be fun even ( Read more... )

Had the most frightening experience EVER today. Randy was having an asthma attack and wasn't breathing well so he was laying on his stomach on the floor while I was rubbing his back lightly trying to comfort him. So tonight went from great to hell in 60 seconds. I had a 3 hour reprieve from my ever-lasting migraine so made lasagna tonight... had Randy over and we ate and then went to a going away party for one of his friends. Not too bad. So I got up under the impression today that I had to cover for Brandy on the front desk while she took her CPR class. Got up out of a nice warm bed in order to do so... braved the craptacular weather (hail and frickin' freezing rain) and I get there to find out I'm not needed!.
