You're not the only one feeling indifferent and bleah towards the Christmas season...and I'm really bloody fed up with the shopping crowds and idiotic drivers.

Buying a house is definitely a reason for both happiness and stress/feeling overwhelmed, it'll settle down and things will get better when you guys get the new place.

The used sofa sounds pretty good...the downside of used furniture is the possibility of critters (bedbugs being the worst).

Small gas leak! Yeah that's a good thing to get fixed...those can get explody...

I've been sleeping poorly too...usually it's my lower back getting tight and painful and waking me up...then since I'm up anyway I make a trip to the bathroom/get a drink of water then read for awhile 'till my back stops hurting.

How often are you visiting the real estate website to look at the pictures of your soon to be new house?

How do you thinks your cats will react to the new house?

Well, we're probably going to go with used furniture regardless. I can spray it or something after grabbing it. The big thing is if we get furniture now, up here, we'd have to transport it two hours south and that's just not a thing we want to deal with. We already have enough furniture to transport, you know? The tricky part is that I want to furnish the first floor with victorian-ish furniture, to keep the feel of the place

Procrastinating sellers kinda blow my mind...up here buyers would be chasing them for the chance to buy.

Sounds like you've got a handle on the cats. Would I be wrong in thinking they will stay close to you guys at first for reassurance?
