Got paycheck, started seriously looking at SLRs. Everyone is sold out of KX 2 lens packages, and prices are going up.

In other news, going hiking Sat. with someone from work. All are invited. Chinidere Mountain, from the Wahtum Lake trailhead. Supposed to be nice waterfalls, slight chance of snow at the top. All weather dependent, of course.

I went and saw the 'Gospel Christmas' show at the Schnitz with my family last night. I smuggled my camera in (as did boatloads of other people...) and got some shots of the show. Out of respect to the performers, no flashes, so lighting was a bit tricky. Overall, though, I'm pleased with how things turned out ( Read more... )

Had my Intel interview today. I think things went well. I knew most of the technical questions asked, and I got along with the engineers well enough... Only question I was really stumped by - can you find a differential measurement using a single-value reading probe. Apparently, yes, you can, using an ossciliscope and funny math.
