Yep...my little girl has her first modeling gig tomorrow. Thankfully this one involves no binging and purging.  If all goes well she will be among others in a print ad campaign. So.. I'm going to the trouble to make  seafood paella tonight. We went to  Whole Foods, bought everything we needed including squid, shrimp and rockfish for the paella. Well...everything is going well...I've made the sofrito (tomato sauce), and I cook the seafood in a little olive oil and white wine. SO....I take the seafood out and while I'm ( Read more... )

It's amazing the amount of  "things" we leave behind us when we die. Kind of sad how everything you saved that once had great meaning to your life, all the milestones of your journey, becomes "stuff" for others to pick through and decide if they have any value for them.

It's really a horrible feeling when you realize that someone you really care about is so totally lost to drugs. We just got back from claiming a few miscellaneous items from my Grandparents house before it is bulldozed next week.
