Cleaning...The Extended Version
It's amazing how long it takes to clean one's house while also parenting an 8 month old. I believe we've been doing our best for 2 weeks now...much more to do. Only 7 days before the in-laws arrive.
We caved and bought a kiddie prison for Lennon today. I do believe having her own little floor space where I don't have to constantly make sure she's not eating the dog, or picking up that speck of whatever from the carpet is the only way we are going to actually get the house clean.
On the bright side I have discovered some old tea pills left over from when we were seeing the OMD in Dallas...mmmm.....I sleep like the dead. No more hours of tossing and turning where I plan out my entire next day and chastise myself for everything I didn't finish that day.
Oh and to all females...I recommend Dong Quai.
And...I'm seriously feeling so old and grown up...detached....
But, Chris text messaged me today....good to hear from old friends. Much happiness.
