Tutorial: Come Along, Pond

Warning: It is very long and image-heavy, so I've subdivided it into two parts under the cut :) I'd say the level is probably Medium-Advanced; I don't go into a ton of detail regarding Photoshop basics, but I'm very willing to answer any questions or clarify anything that's unclear! :)
