Spain has 4 official languages. Well, thanks to some weird politics, there are 5 official languages.

Today I Youtubed a little bit with fao and we found the intro of one of our favorite anime series, Dragon Ball in the 5 legally official languages spoken in Spain. At then, there's a plus the Mexican Spanish, the British English and the original ( Read more... )

How bizarre that certain versions decided to leave the Japanese subtitles; it's kind of funny understanding what's being sung and yet reading the subtitled lyrics which don't quite match :: laugh ::

My brother grew up being a huge Dragon Ball Z fan, before it was released here in the States, and was reliant on really bad bootleg subtitled copies. :: laugh ::

Here it was like a religion. I saw it for the first time in 1988 in the Catalan Television. It was so huge that people recorded the chapters in video, paused the image to draw on paper the characters to make posters

Dragon Ball Z...*estremir*

How different are Catalán and Valencia?

Valencian is just another catalan dialect. The differences are minimal.

Well, there are less differences than between the English spoken in Ireland and the English spoken in Stoken-on-Kent ( ... )
