We’ve rested on the name Hendrix for my lil’ guy for now. It’s taken forever to come to a name that I liked for more than roughly 3 hours, but I feel really good about it. maaan you're brave for telling people your name! i found that even with a pretty un-controversial name like josie, people were quick to impart their opinion. and pretty quickly i learned that i was just not interested in other opinions, so why bother sharing the name? it was top secret after that! this one will be too.

oh man. i cannot keep ANYTHING A SECRET. i wish i could though, because people are so INSANE! like, i would never diss a persons CHOICE OF NAME FOR THEIR CHILD, you know? but, for the most part, i just say, "oh, we're not really sure!" when dealing with people i suspect will be insane or opinionated. sometimes, i misjudge. :-/ then, it gets awkward. hopefully, i wont have to regulate on anyone!

i like that you keep names a secret, though! i loved finding out josie jean and can't wait to find out baby # 2! hope you're doing great, mama!!!!!

well, i think it is definitely a personal preference, but it's also: one of my hugest insecurities is getting overly concerned with what people think of me? so the last thing i needed was to be preoccupied by what the world thinks of my name choice and/or the other names that they like better.

kelly i am doing so well! i can't wait to find out the sex of this little baby. i keep thinking girl but then the moment i'm like "it's totally a girl" i remember how much the universe like to f with me!

i'm the same way. like, naming your child is a reflection of you, you know? so, when people criticize YOUR NAME PICKS, it's INSULTING!!!!! :) grrr. i hate caring what people think. i'm trying to be better about it.

i can't wait to find out either! i'm sure everyone is being like: SO, DEF A BOY, duh! but it's so possibly a lil' lady!!!!! whatever he/she is, let it be HEALTHY, HEALTHY, HEALTHY!!!!!!!!
