Looks like the federal government is going to enact back-to-work legislation for the Ottawa strike. It only took until the 50th day! Man, I'm sooo glad that I've been spared the misery the transit strike has wreaked on Ottawa for a few days ( Read more... )

OH GOD ASK HIM. AND TELL US WHAT HE SAYS. I DEMAND IT.

Also, I'm hoping Stephen Harper might cry because Canadians like Obama better than him. This is because Obama is a celebrity and Stephen Harper is a robot with unruffable hair.
Don't worry Harper. Most leaders are feeling the same.

Well, the Liberals kicked out their old leader, parliament reconvened on Monday, and now the Liberals are supporting it. It's kind of.. boring again, actually!

And Canada's government is no longer in crisis.
Damn! That was my go-to-story all December. No one believed me Canadians could be so dramatic!
