EMMY but no OSCAR#?

This has probably been mentioned before but I'm just noticing it.

I just found out that Nationals is a week later than it usually is (Aug 11-15), so it coincides with an exam week at work, during which I have to be here. I can sometimes get a day off during exam week, but not three. Oh well. At least I'll save a boatload of money. Or I could always go to Word Cup instead! Haha!

I got lucky and won my first Collins tournament.  Not the first one I played, but the first one I won.

I should have gone undefeated but I missed my out bingo against Carl in game 3.  I smartly did not try ENFLOOD* but I missed the valid word in there, and it played.

I volunteered to play in the Collins division to even out. The other five players in my division were: three former world champs, olaugh, and my Scrabble daddy. My goals were to not finish in last place, and to not play any phony 2's or 3's. Success!

When will tournaments start using the new Collins dictionary (CSW12)? I'm probably playing some Collins tournaments soon and I want to make sure I'm not missing anything by not paying any attention whatsoever to the new words.

BAT was my best finish there since I won division B in 2007. Not bad considering my first two games were 342-505 loss to the other Bradley and 297-509 loss to Scott L.
