He gasps when it hits the floor.

[He's startled at the sudden noise - much too loud in the abnormally quiet bookstore - but he quickly shakes it when he sees it was simply a book. Closing his own text, he swiftly crouches down to retrieve the fallen item.

He quirks an eyebrow at the book's title, but holds his tongue before turning to the only person who could have dropped the book.]

Excuse me, but I believed this is yours?
