Whaddaya talkin about, bad cropping? Your kissing coppers icon is excellent.

I went to my friend Tom's Greek Orthodox church a couple times when I was a kid and stayed over the weekend, and I love the insane ornateness of your religion, too.

Okay, so I know these are all you, and I'm used to seeing certain ones associated with certain posts, so I guess my curiosity lies in wondering if any of these were taken specifically to make icons? And what the situations behind some of them are. And stuff.

Mister Cranky-pants

This one was, indeed, taken to be an icon. I was like, "I need a grumpy icon!" so I put my camera on timer and set it on the windowsill in my old office and took pics until I got a good one.

I use it for when I'm cranky. Because sometimes I am straightforward like that.

It is the favorite icon of many, many people. Sadly, I'm not actually cranky all that often, so I sometimes look for excuses to use it, because I know that a bunch of people will squee. :)

Oh yes, the Andrew McCarthey thing was much funnier after I heard that he was meant to play Dr. Stern in Zoonotic, but he and VDO disagreed about some direction...so they invite him back but safely shuffle him into a Logan episode. Pretty funny...particularly since I can't picture anyone being as quietly creepy and awesome as the guy they got to replace McCarthey...plus I always think of "Mannequin" whenever I think of him...creepy but in a very different way.

One day I will watch Bones...I think it's on my netflix...so eventually.

Oh, but the best part of that whole story is when McCarthy claimed VDO "got physical" with him and "slammed him up against the wall." And what's even funnier is whenever that episode would play, his name would still show on the episode info on TV. I swear the announcer guy's voice got more dramatic when he announced Andrew McCarthy would be guest-starring, as if anyone cared but him anymore.

Poor, poor Liza could barely move her face for all the surgery she's had, but it was strangely affecting, as it seemed frozen in grief, not from the fear of aging gracefully.

That episode was so, so strange. Its surreality kind of negated the tastelessness and shot it up into the stratosphere of weird.

The absolute worst JonBenet episode was the X-Files thing with Samantha in starlight and SERIOUSLY DID YOU GUYS EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS AT ALL?

I think it's because of that surreal aspect I can still watch that episode over and over. There aren't many from the past three seasons I can say that with.
