I am not very good at relationships. Even though I value them I have never managed to make it beyond 6 months of continuously being near somebody. Till now! Off to a good start
I spent my first few days of fun-employment camping with the wonderful girlfriend and her crew. Had an absolute blast!

Aaaaaannndddd go!
Gave my "official" notice to work on Monday. Around July 1st (Depends on when I'm satisfied I tied up all loose ends) I'll be a bum freelance hacker! Woot! Blissfully ignoring the fact I won't have any substantial income: I'm fucking excited. I have a whole list of projects to be worked on! Among them:

I think I'm a highly myopic person: I can only focus on a few things at a time. This may be good or bad. Who knows! On one hand I'm able to dig deeply into an aspect but on the other hand I have a hard time dealing with multiple things at once. *shrug ( Read more... ) -

Time for another change?
After a team meeting at work I'm pretty sure that I have no interest in my employers current or future projects. They are good, have a solid market, and they probably will be successful in pursuing them. However the desire for monetary success at the cost of my interest as an engineer is not worth it to me any more ( Read more... ) -
