Time for another change?

After a team meeting at work I'm pretty sure that I have no interest in my employers current or future projects. They are good, have a solid market, and they probably will be successful in pursuing them. However the desire for monetary success at the cost of my interest as an engineer is not worth it to me any more.

I'm looking for a C/C++ systems engineer job with a heavy emphasis on verification driven development. Preferably around the Berkeley area. Even better if the job gives C/C++ a miss and goes straight for Haskell! (One can dream)

Any pointers? I was browsing the employment page at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (http://www.lbl.gov/) and found some interesting possibilities. Honestly, though, looks like I need a higher degree to be even considered for the jobs I'm interested in.
