How was the movie? It looks terrible but I'm interested.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much of the final complication was overcome via Science!, and there was an interesting Chekhov's Gun or two, but it's mostly Nicholas Cage Summer Action Movie #877216842. If that's something you enjoy, you'll probably enjoy this; for me there were some moments that were so dumb they became enjoyable as mere absurdities, some that were so dumb they were just dumb and many in the middle.
