The kittens can climb anywhere now.  Apparently my neck is the choice part of my body.  They climb up and wrap themselves around my neck.  I don't particularly want them there.  But after moving them numerous times, I'm beginning to just get used to it.  They're younger and have more energy for this war than I do.

It sounds like you are handling the situation well. I hope you will all reap some benefits from your new nightly ritual. Communication is key in all kinds of aspects of all your lives. Hope it works out for you guys :)

Thanks :) I hope so too. There are so many things I understand with my mind, but don't always actuate it my life. Well, it's good to wake up to it finally.

Thanks for your reply. It's good to hear your perspective. The idea of loneliness is actually probably really on the mark. On the surface, we are all as available to him as we have always been. But the idea of the dissolution of the family could cause a frightful loneliness. I can use that awareness to try to comfort him and encourage his siblings to do the same. I'll try.

"Is there brain damage?" Oh no. To laugh or cry? Sheesh. Well, since us parents are obviously completely blind to the facts on the ground, if you have any other ideas please let me know them.

I think the nightly discussions sound like a great idea.
As far as the kittens go, sounds like you have a nice fur ruff!
