Things that are awesome/not awesome

We’ll start with not awesome:

• The obvious:  my house
• The fact that I didn’t realize this one paper was due in a class about three weeks ago
• Rain and cold
• Stupid water polo tournament coming up in Houston where the high school kids kick our asses.
• I can’t get into all of the classes I want

NOT YET, I’M BUSY is going on my coat of arms.  Seriously, it’s insanely ridiculous how busy you get when you hit the upper-classmen years.  No one ever told me about this crazy idea of “responsibility”.  I was just looking forward to graduating that much sooner, being that much closer to buying my own alcohol, going to grad school, etcetera.  I ( Read more... )

This is my hell week, but I’m not really worried about it for some reason.  I think my lack of fear stems from the very very naïve belief that I am so awesome I don’t need to worry.  I am actually halfway through hell week, so maybe that has something to do with it as well.

Gaah everyone is leaving me this weekend!

So I have been thinking…I might become an interpreter once I graduate. I think it is something I could really excel at and be happy with, plus the occupation will put bacon on the table. Except that I don’t like bacon all that much, so it would bring home the grapefruits. Oh sweet sweet wonderful grapefruits.

Arrested Development is over.  To me, this represents depressing at its utmost.

We have a house.  It is very pretty and off of Guadalupe and 32nd.  Meaning closer than where Zach and James live.  Our house is also going to kick rather large amounts of ass, and of this I am certain.
