I was up until just shy of dawn working on a paper. That was not fun. Please God, don't make me do it again.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the raccoon was not rabid. But holy fuzzy, a raccoon! One would think that I was used to such things, what with all the deer, rabbits, and opossums running around at home. Huzzah.  I sang.  Only had to do half of what I memorized.  And I didn't die from mortification.  I call that a win.

So, yeah, glad that's over.  Of course, there is the matter of an exam in that same class that I'm studying for now.  I'll be happy when this week is over.

I am exploding with performance anxiety.

In 14 hours, I will have to sing Teresa Teng's "Tián Mì Mì" in front of 30 or so people.  Oh sure, the rest of the class has to do the same, but that's them and this is me.  And I am so screwed.

So this morning my adapter died.  The one I bought this summer to replace my original one.

Yeah, that one.

Not very happy right now.  Is this what technology is?  Something to throw money after, time after time?

It seems that the more I try to focus on my studies, the more distracted I get.  I just seem to have more to do.  I'm not complaining though.  My family pays enough for my education.  I guess I would worry if I just skated by all the time.  And this is a grad course I'm taking, so of course the difficulty has gone up, though  not so much that I'm ( Read more... )

So that leaves me with a lot of reading to do tonight.  If I don't manage to do it all, I still have a little over 2 hours to kill tomorrow.  Then it's back into the fray again.
