(no subject)
So this morning my adapter died. The one I bought this summer to replace my original one.
Yeah, that one.
Not very happy right now. Is this what technology is? Something to throw money after, time after time?
I'm actually posting from Jhonen right now. Surprise! Turns out my wireless works fine. Just not in my room. Yeah. I'm in my floor's lounge right now. Vast difference from pecking away in the comfort and privacy of my own room. And it's Friday so the tech people have all gone home long ago. So I won't be able to ask about getting a new adapter until Monday which means I can't go online in my room for the rest of the weekend.
Normally, I'd be going insane. But that's okay. I can do work. I can read. I can watch movies. How many books have I bought that have yet to be started? How many am I in the middle of right now? And I haven't even watched Howl's Moving Castle!
This is going to be my tech free weekend. For at least two days I will not have my PC opened, beckoning to me with its scolling Panic! At the Disco lyrics...And if I really want to talk to anyone, I'll just go back to the lounge. Or the library. Good reception there. And quiet (sweet, sweet quiet....).
Everything will be fine. ^_^ Hell, the day's been great so far. Why not?
I didn't have Chinese today. Cool, yes? All that cramming for nothing. Yay!
So...I guess I'll go do something then. Maybe call my friend and go to Target. Or play video games. Or something...
