A very relaxed, fun 4th of July. Slept in, made a lovely lunch and watched 1776 on Turner Classic Movies. It's one of my all time favorite movies, a musical about the debate surrounding the Declaration of Independence. It's much more exciting and witty than it sounds, and the performances are incredible. There's no shortage of things to do in this city around July 4th, so I went out with Mike and Janelle today to a Chinatown block party.
