There's something very clever and appealing about Sufjan's music. Like how he writes tributes to cities that anyone can enjoy and relate to, or songs about mass murderers which sound like lullabies, or turns the topic of wasp swarms in Illinois into a haunting nostalgic song about his best friend. Exams are over and I'm no less stressed than I was at the beginning of exam week -  which was not very. I must say I expected at least a feeling of relief or satisfaction that I've finished for the year, but I feel as normal as I would after going and making myself a sandwich. Lost and found fish bracelet, and (after panicing) discovered that it's one of the few things I own that I really care about (non-music-related).
I saw three Danes today, after last night sitting in the same chair I had in my room in Denmark.

I'm actually going to fail.

So today we got a cute little piece of paper in the mail. It read: "It's halloween! Some trick or treaters might come to your house, so make sure you have candy!"

Blindly, we went to the shops and bought candy. We put it in a bowl. We put up scary signs, and even found a cool light up lantern.

Not a single child came.
