I woke up to the best conversation.

It's not the turkey, the stuffing, or the family time that makes thanksgiving great for me. It's driving around the deserted streets with all the stores closed while listening to GYBE.

My semester has unofficially ended. After months of work I had my mandatory review, in which four of the faculty look over your work from the semester then question everything from your techniques to your motives in making art. Halloween has consistently been one of my favorite holidays. The change of seasons, handing out candy, and getting together with friends all in the name of mischief. This year I haven't carved a pumpkin or chosen a costume but by tonight I'll have it taken care of.

My desk is an amazing mess right now. Two different sized wine glasses, three cans of speedball paint, masking tape, x-acto knives, paint brushes, napkins, stencil letters, pencils, spray paint, and a toothbrush.
