With the help of my beau, I now have a new LJ layout. It's somewhat cluttered, but I believe that it's representative of my current headspace. Bathe in my majesty.

P.S. What is a girl to do when she gets to sleep in every day? Why, stir up trouble in a barrelful of idiots, that's what.

I do realise that attempting to encourage a certain openmindedness in such places is like trying to piss a swan ice sculpture in a snowstorm, but I was cranky and bored. It staggers and distresses me how fucking thick SO many people are, all of the time. This is what I get for straying from my LJ friends page.

But I should have learnt my lesson/s from LJ, and other online chat forums...you can't change the opinion of someone who is conciously and willingly inflexible. You can't even encourage them to evolve, and learn, and adapt. People like TMM and TSM.

Frankly, they were a suspect bunch. A leeeeetle too fixated on the texture of baby shit, I'd say. Passing around the baby shit sandwiches, nodding sagely, and saying, "That's not baby shit, y'know." (Chorus of agreement)

Then, just to change the subject and liven things up, someone says, "That's not baby shit!"

vis a vis the post on the baby poop sculpture, it's difficult to inject reason into a topic that your opponent didn't arrive at via reason. But I found the post above yours, from the mother who said "that looks nothing like a baby's first poop" to pretty much explain it all.
