I know nothing about this new play that Dan Radcliffe is going to be in.  And, honestly, I’m really not that interested in the actors in the HP films.  It’s the books that interest me most, and then the business behind the movies is interesting to me, given my vocation.

Seems to me something like that might taint the Harry Potter image. Isn't there usually some sort of clause in the contract that disallows a role like that?

Remember the whole fiasco with Lisa Bonet on the Cosby Show? Or are you too frickin young to remember that? She got away with her movie role, but Bill Cosby was pissed as hell and her TV role was affected as a result.

I think the thing that may save Dan Radclife from having his HP contract affected is that his father is one of the executive producers of the movies. Otherwise, I would imagine WB would be having a cow.
