So, I got to see the Gintama movie today!! I went to Ikebukuro - the train station had tons of advertisements for Gintama manga with manga drawings of the different characters. First I went to Animate at Sunshine City, the 8th floor was turned into a Gintama gallery/merchandise space, which was amazing. I took some pics of the cutouts and Gin's

Wasn't home yesterday >w< Animate looks fantastic, and so much money was spent on so many great merchandise! But I think they've taken down the Gintama stuff at the cinema I think, 'cos I couldn't find it ;~;

Ohh good for you!! If I didn't live in Japan, I wouldn't look for spoilers either, no matter how long it would take for me to watch it. I always prefer avoiding them if I can help it! I hate getting spoiled x(

I don't like the pairing so I didn't look for anything special, I don't even remember if they had any dialogue together sorry ^^; (I really need to go watch again, first time is too overwhelming), but they did fight together (side by side) for a bit at the final battle, Kagura used his head to jump ahead xD And at the end, Sougo, Hijikata and Kondo crouched and put their hands forward as leap step for Yorozuya, and Kagura jumped by stepping on Sougo hand..

The only outright romance were Sacchan and Kondo's one sided loves as usual.. but it was all jokes of course ^^ although there were some implications about Gin/Tae O: (I suppose could be seen either way, but I wasn't expecting it ^^;)

So I just returned from watching the movie again, Kagura and Okita only have that fight scene I mentioned together, they don't even exchange a word.

OH MY GOD!! Thank you so much!! I don't care if I already read the spoiler or not because I know it will still be freakingly awesome if I watch it (hopefully). I don't know if they will show it in our country... Demn I'm so envious, I wish i'm in Japan so I can watch it with other Gintama fans and buy some Gintama merchandise and posters etc... T_T and thanks for giving us hope that maybe the anime will not end (yet)... Seriously I actually cried when I read it in an article that it will be the final arc for the anime... My heart felt so relieved right now, thank you so so much!

P.S. Can I share your spoiler summary, because I know there are some gintama fans who wants to be spoiled (like me) as well. Of course I will give credit to you, since you're so epicly awesome for sharing us what you've watched XD
