oh! thank you! oatmeal has been such a blast. we're thinking about making business cards if you can believe it. ha!

i totally feel the same way... i think wedding photography will be a blast. hopefully it will all work out well, too. i've always dearly wanted to take a technical class... really get into manual f-stops and whatnot. but writing is a bold pursuit as well, and you do it well, so i think it's smart to focus on it, babe.

for serious! lots of things to yay about! :D

i'm a bit worried about the actual COST of a digi SLR, but it seems worth it. i mean, i know i'll use it for sure. and if i find one at an amazing price, i'll totally send you word express. (awww yay you too!)

thanks for your sweet comments. i'm so pleased we're new pals.

You know, you're right. The price has been the major deterrent for me when it comes to the digi SLR. That and the size, although they're getting smaller and smaller. I know that I'd use it though. I just am one to ALWAYS have a camera on me, so I worry that a. I'd either never have it when the opportunity arose or b. I'd carry it with me always and my purse would weigh 50,000 pounds. Haha. But that's just me. STILL, if you find one at a good price, def. keep me updated.

I'm super-happy that we're friends, too. I can't believe we waited this long.

I want to eat your photography and get fat.

Your apartment sounds wonderful! Above a bakery. Isn't that just emeffin' perfect? All my life I've been thinking about little apartments above bakeries, never really believing they exist. How totally perfect that it should be yours. You'll wake up to the smell of heaven. What a way to enter the world every morning.

I love the first photo. It's so expressive and delicious. I'm sure you'll be a great wedding photographer. Heck, I might decide to have a wedding, just so you can take pictures of it!

dude, i've been thinking about how fat i'm gonna get living over a BAKERY. MY NEAREST NEIGHBORS ARE GOING TO BE CARBOHYDRATES!

oh man, i WILL wake up to the smell of heaven. and i really think a certain hula hawaii chick should come and visit. hells bells. you could move in! :D

that would be amazing if you had a wedding just for me and my foto-fancies. you know, WE could just get married and do all the photos ourselves. you're pretty hot on the lens, i know.

Ha! If I moved in with you above a bakery, we'd neither of us be able to fit through the door! Of course, the thought of sharing a charming apartment with you and creating makeshift stained-glass with colored cellophane... that would be incredibly cool.

Well of course we could get married. 'Bout time. ;)

Your photos are amazing...as always. You know I love them.

And your apt.!!! How fucking great is that building???? Once you get settled, I want to come visit...one of these days :)

awwww monsterbird. i love you. you're the sweetest little biscuit. i hope the apt works out, but if it doesn't, then it wasn't meant to be, you know? :) you're always welcome. just move in. you can sleep in one of the bakery's ovens.

Aaaand I wonder who bought most of those biscuits.

I wanted to share, as I'm sitting here, uncomfortably high on my meds, that my father just ran through a sprinkler with his arms stretched out like a child. I thought you'd appreciate that.

And your pictures are beautiful.
