Shall we attempt to arrange a rendezvouz? No stress, of course. Seattle and Portland are a 3 hour train ride apart, so I could make the trek for an evening. I know you'll also be in wedding mode, but perhaps we could have a cup of tea. That would be worth a 6 hour train trip for me.
So, I'm in Juneau now - been out on an island away from the internet. I think you need to know donkeyfly. For some reason you two seem like kindred spirits. Ms Donkeyfly lives here in Juneau and she's colorful and amazing and loves literature and bluegrass and takes amazing pictures. She's also one of the most well traveled people I've ever met -she's crammed a lot of adventure into her 25 years! The mind boggles.
Also, holy cow - only $1100 for a two bedroom, totally aweomse apt??? Yet one more reason to move out of the Bay Area.... Good luck!
