Through MAGIC, of course. Actually, I just thought of something. What if she were pregnant, and then landed on the Asylum planet. And instead of HER turning into a dalek after losing the bracelet - THE FOETUS DOES!!!!!!!!!!!

Your theory makes sense, and I'm afraid that you are right. This is exactly the type of ish I expect from Moffat who unlike RTD, can't do soapy drama without being horribly, painfully sexist. It is the way he is going to attempt to capture what the show had during the RTD era, and has been completely lacking since he took over. But it isn't going to work and he is going to fail massively. With Donna and Rose there were sexist thing, but even St. Rose at her worst wasn't nearly as close to being as bad as Amy.

Also I'm hoping that with the way he handled Filch that there is indeed something going on with The Doctor's memory. This is not quite the same being as Ten, who relegated his double to another Universe for almost committing genocide.

Also I tried getting into Sherlock, I wanted to get into and love Sherlock. But after seeing a first series episode which was yellow peril, depicting Asians in a way I never thought I would see on television in my lifetime I just couldn't get into it.

ETA Also fitting into your theory, ( ... )

He can't even do soap drama, tbh. I felt *nothing* at the prospect of Amy and Rory divorcing other than a faint sense of "Rory is better off without her, really." The Pond Scum Life bit felt very very forced.

And yes, I was not fond of that promo pic. But oh well.

Will you be at DWNY Thursday?

I'm doing my best to be at DWNY on Thursday, will you be there?

I didn't even feel the need to watch Pond Life!

I expect I will, barring any unforeseen circumstances!

T-Rex seemed quite keen to watch Pond Life. So he more or less talked me into it. :D

Stroppy ginger face is my face in response to much of the first two episodes of the series, minus the ginger and being from space. Or being as pretty as Mark Strickson. But you get the idea. NO ONE IS AS PRETTY AS MARK STRICKSON IS. Did I have a relevant point to make? Oh yeah.

That "hey, let's stick together until one of us dies!" moment was pretty heavily foreshadowing something, though that could be a red herring anyway because Moff = troll, or it could just be a moment of the Doctor quietly acknowledging that he has a tendency to outlive people, which isn't especially pretty to think about. But hey, Mark and Jez!bots. I approve. Dinosaurs was better than Asylum inasmuch as it didn't make me angry, but it got epic enough that I think I zoned out a bit and focused more on the livestream chat I was having while I watched ( ... )

LOLOL.

So, wow. Asylum made you so angry you couldn't get passed that one moment for the rest of the ep? Interesting. I thought Dinosaurs had terrible timing. And too much sexual innuendo.

So yeah, go pet a furry wall and think of Mark Strickson. You'll feel better, I promise. ^__^

The thing is that it wasn't just one moment that pissed me off about Asylum, it was like a squillion moments. Which I'll not attempt to rattle off here because I don't want to wreck it for you if you still got a kick out of it. But yeah, I had a list of qualms as I watched, which expanded as I had more time to sit and think about it. I still think Dinosaurs was better, but by no means great.

I will stroke a furry wall and think of Mark Strickson. I'd like to give him a big girly kiss for being fabulous and pretty.
