At last I have a little time to write. I posted this in response to a prompt this month at sb_fag_ends, "Red, Blue and White". Getting in at the last gasp of a month which has been a touch busy for me, here's a little Spike POV fic to share.

I took four linked fics from the sb_fag_ends Halloween challenge and revised them, extending them a little and tying them together to make something that worked as a single piece.

Be warned, though: this means three Bloody Awful poems within a relatively short space.

Rating: PG13 because of Spike's swearing.

A late-night exchange in comments with shapinglight led to this. In my head-canon Spike/William went to Cambridge, just as canonical Giles went to Oxford. Bearing in mind that he was about the right age in about 1872, which makes quite a few brash young newcomer universities ineligible, where do you think young William the not-yet Bloody studied?
