So sad, no Comic Con
I know this is a long shot, but I stupidly did not buy a 4-day pass for Comic Con 2011 while I was actually at Comic Con 2010. I was somehow under the impression that I wouldn't want to go this year. I found out today that a former co-worker committed suicide over the weekend. He went to a gun range and shot himself. I knew he'd been struggling with addiction and family issues, but I was always confident that he would eventually come through it. I can't stand how permanent this is. Queer as Folk UK
I love Sons of Anarchy and now I want to watch (almost) everything Charlie Hunnam's ever been in. This most especially includes the UK version of "Queer as Folk." But seriously though, what is that? Is it people changing their settings from public to private after the notification was sent or something? -

Database for Book Publication Dates
Does anyone out there know of an easy way to find out the publication dates for a whole bunch of books at once? I have 71 titles for which I need to get this info, and I'd really rather not do them one at a time via Amazon...

Is there a way that I can read other people's posts using the style of my journal (i.e., the colors and font size)? I have a vague memory that this is possible, but I don't remember the details. Some journals I try to read are really hard to see because the font is tiny or the color combinations are hard to look at.

the boys are bigger than Elvis now!
Unfortunately, I was a little too star-struck to successfully convey to the boys that the concept of a velvet painting was meant to be funny. I think they thought I was extremely serious about this and extremely proud of this.
